Savaii, the largest island in the group is much less developed than Upolu and has an abundance of natural beauty, traditional villages, and scenic attractions, from lava fields to blowholes, beautiful beaches to rugged coastline, pristine rainforest and a skyline punctuated with the saucer shapes of old volcanoes.
The highest point on Savaii is Mt Silisili at 1858 metres (around 6,100 feet).
