The lodge is large and can sleep up to six people. It comes fully self-contained with a separate kitchen, hot-water shower - and chef on request. You will find a quality double kayak, use of which is included in your daily rate. This is a unique opportunity to spend some time alongside one of the most exquisite beaches and swimming lagoons in the Cook Islands.
You will be met by our staff at the Aitutaki airport after flying forty minutes north from Rarotonga. We will stop at one or more stores and advise you on your food and supply purchases. Then, from our nearby dock on the main island, we ferry you fifteen minutes across the magnificent lagoon to Akaiami. All transfers on Aitutaki are inclusive in our pricing.

Whether planning on getting married or honeymooning, Manea Beach is a superb property which offers that extra personal touch. Situated on the eastern side of Rarotonga, the six unit property is an easy car, bus or scooter ride to the main township of Avarua and has neighbouring activities close by including the top Sails Restaurant (attached to the Rarotonga sailing Club) and Captain Tama's Lagoon Tours just a few minutes walk away.
The internationally renowned Flame Tree Restaurant is almost at your back door. Close by you'll find well stocked dairy and an Internet Café, along with the Pacific Divers operation just across the road. Slide into a kayak (or you can almost walk there!) on Muri Lagoon and visit the motu (islet) Oneroa which means 'long sand'. Manea Beach owns a secluded part of this islet and a coconut hut and table provide a BYO picnic area only 150 metres away. Spend your days lazing on the soft sand or exploring part of Oneroa.
